Use the 4B's: No Longer Sidelined, Becoming An Internet Marketing MVP!

Can you imagine being the player, who has trained, who knows the playbook and is sidelined.

Finally, the coach realizes that he’s had a gem waiting to shine, and puts that player in the game. The player that was sidelined scores the winning point at the buzzer? Now imagine you as a business owner, with great products and services using traditional marketing tools (that work!): business cards, flyers, word of mouth and the paper telephone book to bring traffic to your business. However, other business acquaintaces with the same great products and services, seem to be growing at a faster pace, because they are up on the times. Those owners put technology in the game and are kicking your butt!  Listen business owner, you are the coach and the player, use Empower Network system as your MVP to win with technology!

Here are 4 B’s that will help you…

Blog: Blogging consistently about your business or products builds trust with a growing internet audience. People are more likely to buy products and use services from people they trust.  Blogging with valuable content makes you the trusted official on the internet and helps to generate more income for your business.

Be on the First Page of Google: Most people searching for information are likely to “google” and choose from the first page. If you are on the first page of Google, your link is most likely to be chosen and you can have a new customers daily.

Build A List: You are definitely sidelined if you don’t built a list. Building a list via email and text keeps track of the people have shown interested in your products and services. Use automated services to get the word out while you sleep.

Be Seen Daily: Use your blog, your Google ranking, your list, and social media to be seen. People are watching and reading all the time, even when you don’t know it!  Be seen and be chosen!

If you are not using internet marketing to promote your business then you’ve sidelined yourself.

The amount of traffic that traditional marketing generates compared to internet marketing is like, a trip down a dirt country road at rush hour...not as much traffic as rush hour on a 10 lane highway. The internet is the 10 lane highway!

This last thing I want to tell you is a re-share that I tweaked a little from a Dream Team Member, Apple Daniels:

There are many of you who have been watching from the sidelined  yourselves, wanting more, but afraid to take action.

Well, join the party. Most people I know, myself included have felt that way at one point in time. Those that have partnered with Empower Network will tell you that since going for it… we are no longer sidelined. We are beginning to experience personal and financial growth in ways they never thought possible. If you can follow directions, are ready for mentoring, and to partner with a phenomenal team that can get you the results you desire, join us on this journey.

Blessings and more blessings to you!

Prayer For Families

Father in Heaven, thank you for the ability offer prayer for families.

Thank you for the many things that make us uniquely ourselves, and the things that mesh us together as one. Thank you for the Fathers, Mothers, Aunts and Uncles who are still here and those that have gone on who stood as pillars to the children closest to them. What one parent may have lacked, their siblings, nieces and nephews were so willing stepped up to give us what they had. Whether it was, discipline, clothing, spending time with each other, life lessons, a hair-do on a special occasion, a shoulder to cry on, or a testimony to live for YOU.  We are better people and forever grateful for your provision.

Lord, I ask you in this prayer for families, that what the devil meant for evil, you would make it for our good.

I ask that you would break our family curses. Curses, which essential are patterns of behavior that is not pleasing to you, that continue discord and strife. I pray that you touch the hearts of those who don’t see eye to eye. Let them accept those differences. Yet, bring them back to loving, healthy and renewed relationships.

God, will you make us a family that draws closer each and everyday. So that when Your will for our lives are done, that our gatherings are to celebrate the lives of the ones we lost and not serve as family reunions.

Gracious Father, I send this prayer for families all around the world. Give us the ability to share what is going on in our lives-good or bad. So that we are not in a bubble by ourselves until something drastic happens. There is strength in numbers. Let us be there for each other when we need prayer and in going through life’s storms.  Lord, when we share, let everyone be good listeners and speakers, encouragers, prayers and servants to one another.

Finally, Father, because you are omnipresent, therefore, you know all and see all and there is nothing too hard for you and you are connected to this prayer for families. Arrest every sickness and disease that has taken hold of our family members. I pray for full recoveries.  For those who are still mourning the lose of our loved ones, that you turn their mourning to dancing, turn their sorrows to joys. For, those who struggle with addictions, be it food, drugs, alcohol, I pray that we are not slaves those things.

This prayer for families encompasses our extended families as well.

Let our unions be loving, caring, forgiving, slow to anger, that represent the Fruits of the Spirit. Give us all visions for lives. Let the example of what you deem as family, be played out in our character as individuals and our relationships with each other. All for your glory!

In Jesus' name, I pray Amen!

Blessings and more blessing to you,

Taking The Plunge Into Empower Network

The first time I remember taking the plunge was as a child.

My sister Cherie and I were taken to Charleston, Illinois to visit for a week or two in the summer.  This was some time in the early 1980’s. I remember that because, while we were there, I watched MTV for the first time. It was heavy pop and rock and the only R&B artist I remember seeing was Michael Jackson!

Anyway, it was the very first my sister and I had been that far away from our mother and  traveled outside of the world as we knew it, the South Side of Chicago. To me, it was really taking the plunge because the 3 hour car ride had taken us into whole new world. I had never seen so much CORN, a bigger house and finer decor!

My god brother Carl was scheduled for swimming lessons. He was unable to attend and I was chosen to go in his place. I learned to kick and float and all the basics of swimming. The last day of class, the instructor marched us to the deep end of the pool.  He informed us that we would take the plunge from the top of the diving board into the deep.

I was stricken with horror! I had never ventured into the water past my waist before that week and he wanted to me to take the plunge into what seemed to be my death! When it was my turn, he told me, “You can do it! Just dive in and when you get to the bottom, flip over and PUSH yourself up to the top!” I walked up the ladder shaking like a leaf! Got to the edge of the board, mimicked what I had seen on television. I put my hands in the praying position and dove in! Splash!

I was taking the plunge !!!  When I hit the water, I did exactly what the instructor told me. In seconds, I found myself on the top of the water, everyone cheering while the assistant helped me back to the edge of the pool.

Taking the plunge is taking a chance. It feels like the scariest thing in the world until you actually do it. Then, you realize, it really wasn’t so bad and probably should have done it a long time ago!

Have you been considering taking the plunge into Empower Network? It’s like my swim instructor said, “You can do it! Just dive in…and PUSH yourself up to the top!”

Better yet, Do it! Check out this prerecorded webinar on How Empower Network works and then connected with me so we can get you started!

You are just like me in the 80′s. You are heading down a road into whole new world with endless possibilities,  just a lot less corn!

Blessings and more blessings to you,

Cherise Taylor

How to Be A Good Team Leader!

Every new person that joins a club, a business, a church group or any kind of group is looking for a good team leader.

The more I connect with people in social networks and spend time in my mlm and affiliate marketing businesses, this comment surfaces more than it should, “Well, I joined this….But once I got in, my leader won’t return my calls. “

Here’s the deal, if you are building a team of any kind, especially mlm or affiliate marketing, you must become a good team leader and fast!

Once you sign someone to your business...POOF!!... you are a leader. Your recruits will look to you for direction.  Your ability to lead…or not, will determine your success. Especially in mlm and affiliate marketing, we need people to grow our businesses.

Here are three (of many) steps from three great leaders are helping ME (and now you!) on my road to be good team leader.

Nicole S. Cooper: Know and Show

On the Mid-Day Motivational call for Tuesday, September 18, 2012, Nicole offered these two pieces of advice:
1. “Know… what you must do, so you can set precedence on what good work ethic is."
2. "Show you are consistent, show you are committed, consistent and serious…so that people will come to you with credit card in hand!”
Know your craft and show it to the world!

Miles Munroe: Be A Lion!
I found Miles Monroe's  10 Attitudes of Leadership Development Sermon, on YouTube. It is posted in 9 Videos.

In one of the videos Monroe says be a lion!  “The Lion is the King of the Jungle ONLY because what it believes about itself and what the other animals believe about the Lion.”  Believe you are a good team leader, work like a leader and others will begin to think so too!

Dave Wood: Follow The Leader

David Wood, co-founder of Empower Network, says he works on his business a few hours a day and then goes out to play!  Here’s Dave's strategy: Build a team, create community, build relationship where everyone can interact.  By golly, it works!
My primary business is Empower Network. I am part of Tracey Walker’s Dream Team.
Anything from how to upload a picture on our blog site, to how to interact with prospects are addressed in our social media groups. Not just by Tracey Walker and the Dream Team Leadership Council. Anyone in the group is willing to lend a helping hand. By joining Empower with me and the Dream Team you will never feel like you are running your Empower Network business on your very on island!

If you are creating any form of community and people see you as their leader, use this information to begin your journey of being a good team leader.

Make sure you BELIEVE YOU ARE a good team leader. Know what you must do to show people you are a good leader to follow. Most importantly, PLEASE don’t just leave people hanging once they swipe their credit card to join you in business!  Keep them connected your community!  Be a good team leader and you will grow your team and your business!
Blessings and more blessing to you!

Givers AND Takers Go Bankrupt!

Givers and takers go bankrupt due to the fact that they are unbalanced!

This posting was inspired by Tracey Walker
on an Empower Network Dream Team's Mid-Day Motivational Call

I experienced this epiphany after that call. Thus, I desired to share this with everyone whose eyes happen to find their way to this very page.

Let's consider the traits of givers and takers. Givers most likely are the nicest people you will ever wish to meet. They tend to always smile, look you squarely in the eye and say, "Whatever you need, just let me know!" And you know what? They genuinely mean that and it is coming from a good place. Givers will sacrifice their last quarter to assist you. Typically though, givers can give and hardly ever receive back.

Takers generally are either opposite or perhaps just unaware that they're takers. They are able to verbalize the thing they need and receive comfortably. However, they often times are unavailable in the event the tables turn. The very person that gave to them in their time of need could be starving to death. Yet, they will not offer a crust of bread and a sip of water to come to the need of others. Takers can also be, people who just learned to lean on others to receive and was never taught to give back.

After Listening to Tracey's call, I offer you my epiphany: givers and takers ought to be givers and takers! :)

The match made in heaven! Just like peanut butter and jelly, ying and yang, Batman and Robin! Givers and takers equal the ideal pair. The secret is acquiring a health balance between both actions. Then repeat it in our own lives.

Extreme givers become takers: Take compliments, take invitations to lunch, go on a mini-vacation, take token gifts, take yourself shopping....

Extreme takers be become givers : Give a compliment, give an un-expecting someone a party. Give an at-home mom free babysitting, for date night out, give great advice... In essences, just step out of your respective comfort zone

You can actually be givers and takers that go broke, due to the fact that the scales are unbalanced. Regardless of who you tend to be, lighten the scales on your heavy side. If you don't, you will be drained, emotionally, financially, and spiritually.

Givers won't take enough and feel used. The taker is going to take, others will feel used and disconnect. Begin with finding your balance by discussing with those who will lovingly show you the truth. Be ready to accept "seeing the you that other people see"with the intention of, transforming into a healthy giver and taker.

Once you really become a balanced giver and taker you experience riches!

You WILL be one of those who happier, you WILL have good boundaries, you WILL stay relevant to other people, and you WILL become the example of the best way to truly be a giver AND taker!

Here's what happens if you end up a good giver and taker.

"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-- pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. "Luke 6:38 - NASB

Blessings and more blessings to you!

The Top Reality TV shows have this in common….

A host of new beginnings, a good fight and video marketing!  Yes sir, yes ma’am the last thing on the list was video marketing.  I am learning so much with Empower Network that I am starting to see things I just didn’t see before. Let me tell you, the whole concept of video marketing is GENIUS! So genius that, I believe anyone in business (be it a brick and mortar on an online business) should follow the lead of the top reality shows and join the ranks of video marketers.

Now when I say top reality shows, I have my picks. I haven’t taken a random poll or consulted the Neilson Ratings. I just randomly chose my favorites.  One of my all time favorite shows is Braxton Family Values.
The Braxtons, Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tracey and Tamar and Ms Evelyn, the girls' mother, have influenced life, music, slang and fashion. They have used their individual goals and dreams to promoted their money-making projects since the show aired.

After watching the first three episodes of Season 3 of my top reality show, Braxton Family Values, there are clearly highlighted themes that will generate cash for the Braxtons and others that are connected to the show.

Ms. Evelyn has opened a life coaching business!
She has combined her skills as being a pastor, a mother and a motivational speaker in her new business.  Snippets from her client sessions are highlighted this season's first episode on WEtv.

The second theme I want to point out is the use of video marketing to promote, Tamar, Trina and Toni’s new music. Each girl’s screen time is centered a round their music projects. Tamar’s is torn between carrying her own child and being paranoid about her body becoming less than perfect for her career and how to come to a common ground about it. Trina debuted hersingle Party or Go Home, at the end of season two of Braxton Family Values. As of today, Trina’s single is doing very well on iTunes and the show is showcasing Trina, leaving her band and to become a solo artist. Toni’s single I Heart You is doing pretty good on iTunes.

Toni's story line is about truly going solo, with out her sister’s as background singers. Toni’s story line is also centered her being the Global Ambassador for Autism Speaks!

The slang component of video marketing in this top reality tv show is contagious. There are millions of people all over the world quoting Tamar’s quick whipped responses of  Get yo life,  She is… , Do Wop Pop Pop Chick, and the bomb.com.

The fashion component is what interested me the most. Every episode, the girls seem to be showcasing big bold earrings.  These earrings are so popular that I was able to locate the makers of the fashion forward earrings, Poparazzi Earrings and Glam-Luxe.

The earrings range from $17 to $175 from those websites. Not to mention the “like earrings” found on Ebay and as well as my neighborhood beauty supply.

Do you see how JUST ONE of the top reality tv shows are using video marketing? Would you bet that this has generated millions of dollars of income for the Braxtons and their brands? Do you see the income potential of the indirect/or direct cash flow to makers and resellers of the earrings that they wear on their show? Now IMAGINE how much money your top reality tv show is making from video marketing!

Are you promoting your business and/or products through video marketing like the Braxtons? If, not you should!

You may not have a top reality tv show budget. But, you do have social media outlets like Google+, You Tube, Facebook, Twitter, to showcase your videos and they all are FREE!

Get to a video recorder and promote your business like me… and my top reality tv show stars, The Braxtons!

Blessings and more blessings to you!
