Givers AND Takers Go Bankrupt!

Givers and takers go bankrupt due to the fact that they are unbalanced!

This posting was inspired by Tracey Walker
on an Empower Network Dream Team's Mid-Day Motivational Call

I experienced this epiphany after that call. Thus, I desired to share this with everyone whose eyes happen to find their way to this very page.

Let's consider the traits of givers and takers. Givers most likely are the nicest people you will ever wish to meet. They tend to always smile, look you squarely in the eye and say, "Whatever you need, just let me know!" And you know what? They genuinely mean that and it is coming from a good place. Givers will sacrifice their last quarter to assist you. Typically though, givers can give and hardly ever receive back.

Takers generally are either opposite or perhaps just unaware that they're takers. They are able to verbalize the thing they need and receive comfortably. However, they often times are unavailable in the event the tables turn. The very person that gave to them in their time of need could be starving to death. Yet, they will not offer a crust of bread and a sip of water to come to the need of others. Takers can also be, people who just learned to lean on others to receive and was never taught to give back.

After Listening to Tracey's call, I offer you my epiphany: givers and takers ought to be givers and takers! :)

The match made in heaven! Just like peanut butter and jelly, ying and yang, Batman and Robin! Givers and takers equal the ideal pair. The secret is acquiring a health balance between both actions. Then repeat it in our own lives.

Extreme givers become takers: Take compliments, take invitations to lunch, go on a mini-vacation, take token gifts, take yourself shopping....

Extreme takers be become givers : Give a compliment, give an un-expecting someone a party. Give an at-home mom free babysitting, for date night out, give great advice... In essences, just step out of your respective comfort zone

You can actually be givers and takers that go broke, due to the fact that the scales are unbalanced. Regardless of who you tend to be, lighten the scales on your heavy side. If you don't, you will be drained, emotionally, financially, and spiritually.

Givers won't take enough and feel used. The taker is going to take, others will feel used and disconnect. Begin with finding your balance by discussing with those who will lovingly show you the truth. Be ready to accept "seeing the you that other people see"with the intention of, transforming into a healthy giver and taker.

Once you really become a balanced giver and taker you experience riches!

You WILL be one of those who happier, you WILL have good boundaries, you WILL stay relevant to other people, and you WILL become the example of the best way to truly be a giver AND taker!

Here's what happens if you end up a good giver and taker.

"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-- pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. "Luke 6:38 - NASB

Blessings and more blessings to you!
